This out-of-print Memories cd contains a rare record of the last concert given by the late,legendary German conductor Carlos Kleiber on February 26, 1999. The concert was given with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra performing on tour at the Teatro Comunale in Cagliari. The program included works in which Kleiber had no living equal, Beethoven's 4th and 7th symphonies and Strauss' Fledermaus Overture. The stereo sound is superb and the wildly enthusiastic audience reaction is included. Not to be missed by Kleiber fans.
