The film was nominated for Best Foreign Film at the Independent Spirit Awards and has grown in stature since it's original release. Music composed and conducted by Michael Nyman and performed by the Michael Nyman Band This was the seventh soundtrack that Nyman had composed for a Peter Greenaway film.
