EveryoneТs favourite Gold Coast collective, Operator Please, return
with their remarkably sophisticated sophomore album СGlovesТ on Friday
May 31.
The band spent 12 months pouring their heart and soul into a record
that was largely self produced at a Byron Bay farm and in Amandah
WilkinsonТs Gold Coast lounge room.
Lead singer Amandah says, УThe album is the perfect representation for
where we are at right now. It has all the experiences and growth from
touring, seeing places and discovering the new; encompassed into about
35 minutes of songs.Ф
The band chose to upload the debut single СLogicТ to Myspace two weeks
ahead of service: the reaction was incredible, with national radio
stations adding the track immediately. Proving to be an instant hit,
СLogicТ is released digitally on February 16.

From here, fans will also have the option of pre-ordering an exclusive
version of СGlovesТ that includes a cassette mix tape of Operator
Please demos, remixes and acoustic tracks.
Bursting onto the music scene in early 2007 with their addictive СSong
About Ping PongТ, Operator Please went on to release their debut album
СYes, Yes VindictiveТ both here in Australia and in the UK. With five
official singles released from СYes, Yes VindictiveТ the band toured
the world playing sell out festivals throughout Australia and Europe
and found themselves working with the likes of Bloc Party and Arctic
Monkeys. Fast forward to early 2009, the band began writing new
material for СGlovesТ and kick things off with СLogicТ.
