In August 2009, the four original band members of X gathered in Billy Zoom’s “Studio A” to record three holiday tunes; “Jingle Bells,” “Run Run Rudolph” and “Santa Claus is Coming To Town.” The songs were produced by Zoom and engineered by Matt Wignall (Cold War Kids, Mars Volta.) The November? release of these three classic Christmas tunes will coincide with four final 2009 live show dates, this December, split between Los Angeles, Sacramento and San Francisco. Look for an extra special twist on the X-Mas holiday theme throughout these December shows as well as a set list of classic, original X tunes.
