Ile Bizarre is the fortunate encounter of three soundmakers--Diane Labrosse, Ikue Mori and Martin Tetreault--who make music from collages, sound spaces and raw noises: interferences, pops and frying sounds.
Ile Bizarre is based on extreme usage of minimal sound material. This forms a music that is abstract and impressionistic--a kind of "cinema for the ear"--as in a series of immaterial journeys made of surrealist impressions, foreign ambiances, projections and memories.
