Out of print in the U.S. 1972 debut from the fabulous Soul outfit featuring the distinctive vocals of Teddy Pendergrass. Although Harold Melvin led the Blue Notes, he surrounded himself with great vocalists. Pendergrass may have been the break-out star, but Melvin and his boys never let their fans down. This debut features 'If You Don't Know Me By Now', which was a huge success in the '80s when Simply Red took it into the charts again...but the Blue Notes version is still the best. This reissue features one bonus track: the single edit of 'If You Don't Know Me By Now'. Sony.
