3-11 PORTER from Oslo / Norway are one fantastic outfit. PER ARNE BERTHUSSEN, SVEIN HANSEN and songstress TRACEE LEWIS MEYN have that "certain something" with a mature sound that is part SERGE GAINSBERG, part Nu Jazz, part Pop, part soundtrack. Heavily influenced by the works of ROXY MUSIC, THE STRANGLERS, THE SMITHS and TOM WAITS as well as by Blues, Folk and "classic" film scores. Vocalist TRACEE LEWIS MEYN studied music at Musician's Institute in Hollywood and worked with the likes of KENNY LOGGINS, STEVE VAI and PAUL ANKA.
