2008 digitally remastered two-fer from the Country icon featuring a double dose of Ricky Scaggs on one disc: Waitin' For The Sun To Shine (1981) and Highways And Heartaches (1982). Two #1 hits (`Crying My Heart Out Over You' and `I Don't Care') came from Waitin' For The Sun To Shine, Ricky's first album on the Epic record label. The album has a straightforward mountain approach. On Highways & Heartaches, Skaggs developed his Bluegrass roots with new traditionalist sensibilities and catchy Pop tunes. Four of the tracks (`Heartbroke', `You've Got A Lover', `I Wouldn't Change You If I Could' and `Highway 40 Blues') were chart-toppers. BGO.
