In 2003, B and Gabin met in the (now defunct) artist run ‘Space 3’ in Sydney. They had both turned up to play an improvised music gig at an exhibition opening. Their paths did not cross again until 2005 when B was based in Berlin. Gabin visited and 'Machine est Mon Coeur' began when his musical experimentation confronted her song writing. The project migrated to the South of France for several months of writing and recording before returning for another stint in Berlin where they continued to work on the project.
In late 2006/early 2007 both members were again in Sydney finishing off their first self-titled, 6 track EP, also playing their music live for the first time.
Based mainly in the South of France, the band spent most of 2007 writing and recording new material towards their first full-length album. Towards the end of the year they stalled the writing process to prepare a live set for a three-month string of shows in Berlin, Leipzig and Hamburg (Germany) in early 2008.
They now plan to continue work on their album and hope to briefly visit Sydney in July for a performance....
