*note - since In An Emergency... is listed separately on this site, this review is for the s/t LP aka Fuck You LP, which I think this listing is for?*...Monster tour-only 12" as good or better as the aforementioned 1st 12" slab. This is "free rock" if I've ever heard it...or at least what "free rock" should sound like for my ears. First track is called "Drop The Bomb" and they sure do. This band exists in a swirling black hole all their own at the space-time nexus of early hardcore punk, the most out free-jazz ensembles (think early Brotzmann groups), duo-improv (Bailey-Parker if Parker was a drummer) and ear-splitting noise/experimentation (Borbetomagus). As a guitar and drums duo they manage to capture the ferocity of all those modes of expression, and to add to that their musicianship is top notch; there's no extraneous noodling here, it's all blood and guts. Highest rating.
