This album includes the last recordings made by thelegendary Niels-Henning ?rsted Pedersen, a member of the Oscar Peterson Trio for the last thirty years of his life.
Pedersen played on more than 400 jazz albums and accompanied nearly every big name in jazz, including Sonny Rollins, Dexter Gordon, Johnny Griffin, Roland Kirk, Stan Getz, Bud Powell, Bill Evans, and more. Additionally, he was the leader of his own NH?P Trio featuring prestigious guitarist Ulf Wakenius, also a longtime member of the Oscar Peterson Trio. A unique album from this inspired, unforgettable bass player who passed away in 2005.
