When I first heard Chuck Brodsky's "We Are Each Other's Angels" in 1996, I began thinking about all the people that have impacted my life over the years. Family members, friends, acquaintences, even total strangers have been angels to me in times of need. I felt a strong sense of gratitude as I contemplated this and Chuck's words, "We are each other's angels. We meet when it is time. We keep each other going, give each other signs," really resonated with me.
Realizing the healing quality that music has had in my life, I founded Hungry for Music in 1994. Angels continue to come along and give me a helping hand as Hungry for Music's outreach grows. With inspiration from "We Are Each Other's Angels" I thought it fitting to produce an angel-themed compilation to acknowledge my angels. My hope is that others will draw inspiration from these songs.
