CYBER GRIND，在国内被翻译成电子碾核或工业碾核，是GRINDCORE音乐的一个分支，也是近年来颇受人瞩目的一种碾核音乐形式。这张作品由目前世界上专门出品极端地下碾核作品的厂牌--Fecal Matter Discorporate发表，几乎网罗了目前世界各地最令人关注的CYBER GRIND乐队的作品。这些乐队分别是：Libido Airbag、Basket Of Death、Enema Cocktail、Bukkake Master、Fece-Vomitatie、Intense Soaked Cloth、Flattened Feculent Formaldehyde Fetus、Fuck The Facts、Garrotte、Mindfucking Boy、Gynophagia、Noism、Shunt Incision、She's Gore、Parasymphatomimetic Thrombophlebitis、SMES、Shotgun Funeral、50 Ways To Kill Me、Orgasmatron、Imbibing Bile、Electrocutionerdz、Red Hot Piggys Pussys、Ultrabused Orifice、Your Third Eye Is A Bullet Wound、Smothered Brothers、PAWC、Haemorr Drench、 Murder 2099、Ayer Killing Spree、Gigantic Brain、Savage Man Savage Beast、Abiku、Cranial Rectosis、Lymphatic Phlegm、 Fibrosarcoma、Absurd God、Eyetofuk等。这些乐队中既有一些我们耳熟能详的名字、又有一些我们闻所未闻的乐队；既有一些比较传统意义上的典型的CYBER GRIND乐队、又有一些混入了大量其它碾核音乐元素的“非典型”乐队。CYBER GRIND，从当初作为GRINDCORE音乐的一个不起眼的分支，发展到现今这样一个“到处开花”的局面，其中包含着一些必然的元素。一是音乐构架简单，往往很少有甚至没有吉他、贝司等演奏乐器，主要靠电子合成器来编排音乐；二是音乐的随意性很强，往往一、两个人就可以构建一支完整的CYBER GRIND乐队，乐队的音乐创作具有极强的DIY精神；三是近年来此类风格的碾核乐队吸收了大量其它碾核音乐的元素，音乐更加丰富、显得更加多元化，而不像以往此类音乐往往给人留下的那种较为枯燥、较为机械的感觉。总之，这张合集作品在很大程度上反映了CYBER GRIND音乐的现状，从中还可以了解此种音乐今后发展的大致方向，是每一个碾核迷都应该仔细欣赏的作品。
