An assured debut that fits neatly into the pop punk stereotype but doesn't seem to succumb to sameness completely. The Like are reprising a familiar musical genre, but doing it with above-average flair and with a lead singer who sounds alternative enough to raise them above their run-of-the-mill competitors. An all girl rock trio who's sound can only be described as a mix of Elastica, The Sundays, The Pretenders, Belly, Hole & The Bangles.
