Downtown Nashville, just off the dirty Cumberland River, is a wayward home for junkies, poets, homeless buskers, and starving musicians. Each a master at his trade, they fight and wrestle with the sounds of a ever-changing world, hoping to someday master the blues and perform honky tonk ballads like the gone-but-not-forgotten country angels of old. For years there was one band that shone brighter than the rest: Th' Legendary Shack Shakers. As time has passed, the linup has changed and the band's fan base has grown worldwide, but the quartet captured here was the best, sharpest group of villains to ever play under the name.
