The Killers will be releasing their annual Christmas single, “Happy Birthday Guadalupe,” via (RED), on World AIDS Day – December 1st. This is the band’s fourth Christmas single to benefit (RED); all the proceeds from the song’s sales go directly the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa. The song and video are available for sale now at all digital service providers. The song also features guest turns by the bands Wild Light and Mariachi El Bronx, both of whom opened f! or The Killers on the last leg of their massive American tour this fal l.
“We’re thrilled to be releasing our fourth Christmas song with (RED),” said Killers’ front man Brandon Flowers. “(RED), through the Global Fund programs it supports, has made great stri des in providing care to those affected by AIDS throughout Africa, and it’s our honor to continue to contribute to that cause.”
“Happy Birthday Guadalupe” is another holiday smash by The Killers, whose past Christmas songs have seen them collaborating with Elton John, The Pet Shop Boys’ Neil Tennant and others. The video for the song is a spooky tale of lost love set in the desert, filled with otherworldly spirits, angels, skeletons and a very special cameo by Luke Perry.

About The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria
The Global Fund is a unique global public/private partnership dedicated to att racting and disbursing additional resources to prevent and treat HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.
