One may be the loneliest number for Throttlerod's Matt Whitehead, being the group's sole original member, but he and his band mates have decided that three is their lucky number: three lineup changes, three members in the current incarnation, and the third installment of albums for Small Stone. Tethered by Andrew Schneider's elastic bass playing and anchored by Kevin White's powerful drumming, Pig Charmer is the perfect vehicle for Whitehead's angular, soulful songwriting.
