That's solid science, friends and that is also Lindsay and Alexis Powel, the duo otherwise known as Festival . Tribal drone, backwoods spiritual, basement psychedelia, hilltop roots romp.whatever element they touch upon filters through the genetics of sisterly song and descends on eager ears like a misty rain. Alexis Powell is a current and founding member of the meerkat film collective. Lindsay Powell has released two solo records under the aegis of Cake Bake Bety and is a member of the heavy rock quartet Skyblazer.
