This really isn't a compilation album rather than a bunch of b-sides, or left over tracks that never made it on their recent works. I guess in a way it is a compilation album then, but should be under their LP's list because this one I fear is going to slip under the radar. This album is probably the best thing the residents have done since the 80's, I'm serious. Completely instrumental, I couldn't imagine how good the songs could be with vocals...which I'm guessing since their recent vocal work (story telling? lame hick voice) would only drag these gems down. If you want quirky, dark, weird, upbeat Residents, get this. Actually, if you like The Residents at all, you should already be trying to track this one down. I could see this as a gateway to get people into The Residents just based off their terrifying music, but this is a lot more accessible. Get it.
