Finnish born and Berlin based Kalle Kalima is one of the most fascinating modern jazz guitarists around at the moment. He has worked alongside many high rated Jazz musicians including trumpeter Tomasz Stanko, Marc Ducret and nu-jazz pioneer Jimi Tenor. Klima Kalima is the energetic jazz trio who feature on this album, and whilst their music is rooted in the tradition of modern jazz, it will also appeal to fans of more groove-based guitar like Charlie Hunter as well.
